Privacy policy

Effective 13 July 2026

Ordinary Odds does not require an account and does not send your answers or portraits to us. They remain on your device unless you choose to share them.

Information stored by the app

Ordinary Odds stores your answers, completed portraits and portrait history locally on your iPhone. This information is used to show your progress and let you revisit completed portraits.

Information we collect

We do not collect your answers, portraits, name, email address, location, contacts, health records or advertising identifiers. The app has no account system, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, backend sync or third-party tracking.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Ordinary Odds receives the transaction status and the entitlement needed to unlock paid portraits. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy policy.

Sharing

The app creates portrait images on your device. Nothing is shared automatically. When you press a share button, iOS shows its share sheet and you choose the destination. The privacy practices of that destination then apply.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains on your device until you clear it from the app or delete the app. The Privacy screen includes a control that removes saved answers and portraits.

Children

Ordinary Odds is a general-audience reflective app. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this policy and its effective date will be updated before the changed behaviour is released.
